Shin Tseng

Co-founder/Architect of REXKL and Creative Director at IDEAWORKSHOP, Shin Tseng has worked in London and Hong Kong since his graduation from The Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL). For the past 15 years, his wide range of overseas and local architectural design experience encompasses urban planning, hospitality, mixed-use development and adaptive reuse. Following his passion in sustainable architecture and community development, Shin has been actively initiating community projects and placemaking within the context of his practice. Taking great interest in improving the living conditions in Downtown Kuala Lumpur, he believes that we should be activating under-utilised spaces in high density urban setting and repopulating them with relevant content and communities such as the burned-down REXKL.
